Star Wine List to celebrate top wine lists in the Baltics

On 19 November, Star Wine List will celebrate the great wine lists of the Baltics
for the very first time. All wine bars and restaurants in Estonia, Latvia and
Lithuania are welcome to enter the prestigious wine list awards, free of charge.

“In recent years, the Baltic states have taken huge steps in gastronomy and wine service. A
strong testament to that was of course the win by Latvian Raimonds Tomsons in the recent ASI
Best Sommelier of the World event. Now we are very happy to bring our wine list celebration to
the Baltics, and to highlight the great wine lists and wine teams in the region,” says Krister
Bengtsson, founder and publisher of Star Wine List.

Star Wine List of the Year is a celebration of the great wine lists in the world and the teams
behind them. It is being held around the world with events in New York, London and Cape Town.
And now – in the Baltics.

In the Baltics, the prize will be awarded in ten categories and for each category, there will be a
national winner from each of the three states. And the winners in each country will also qualify
for the International Final in 2024.

The wine list awards will take place in Tallinn on November 19, during the Food and wine
festival.

The best short, medium-sized and long wine lists will be awarded. Sustainability has gotten its
own category as well as the best newcomer, and Nyetimber joins as partner for the Best
sparkling wine list. And like on all our events, the best Austrian wine lists are also recognized.

Last day for restaurants and bars to register is on Sunday October 1. Read more about the
event, how to enter and more here
