Sündmuse detailid
We are more than happy to welcome to our humble bottleshop these two geniuses in craft beer world as we’re hosting our first meet the brewers event on 19th of June – Agostino Arioli – a pioneer in the production of craft beer in Italy and a man behind Birrificio Italiano and Chris Pilkington from the most widely known Estonian microbrewery – Põhjala Brewery.
VAADIS / ON TAP:
– Põhjala Ülo – Chardonnay barrel aged Imperial Saison with gooseberries 10%
– Põhjala Graff Gadient – Rye and Apple Gose 5.8%
Collab with To Øl and BRUS. A sour rye gose brewed with spontaneously-fermented cider as mash liquor, Estonian apple juice, and three varieties of thyme.
– Põhjala Italobänger – Imperial Stout with figs, star anise, blood oranges and grape must 12.5%
– Birrificio Italiano Tipopils – Pilsner 5.2%
A flavour one can never get tired of: this is the secret… A beer of great character in its apparent simplicity, its drinkability and low alcohol content often make it impossible to avoid having “one more”.
– Birrificio Italiano Bang Bretta – Brett IPA 7.9%
IPA matured in red wine barrels from Trentino with brett. The full-bodied base beer (reminding cookies, dried apricot) supports a weave of cellar and marc notes, together with a decisive funky fingerprint. A balsamic, pervasive bitterness wraps up the sip.
– Birrificio Italiano BRQ Sultana #42-44 – Brett Ale 6.5%
“Mother” of Klanbarrique’s Wildekind, this beer was brewed and barrel-aged at the original Birrificio Italiano headquarters in Limido Comasco. Compared to Wildekind it’s slightly rounder and pleasantly wild. Technical notes: see Wildekind.
(Wildekind is Belgian-inspired 7,7% ABV ale aged in red wine barrels with brett. Thick and long-lasting, it is dominated by notes of grains and fruit (golden delicious apple) at play on a dry and lively carbonated body; ending in winey and finely spicy back aromas. Brett does the magic, adding a seductive and wild funky feel which complements the drinking experience, first sip to the last.)
Long story short – come, drink good beer and ask these guys everything you want to know! Cheers!
